Founded in LA in 2002, based in Washington DC since 2010, Leapfrog goes wherever the stories lead. We continue to develop and produce our slate of documentary, reality and interactive projects with the very best of artists and partners, and now do so with expert and added layers of pandemic safety protections.
Leapfrog has developed, produced and distributed award-winning short-form and long-form documentaries, scripted and unscripted, interactive and immersive experiences, television series and specials for such clients as WETA PBS, AARP, Discovery, Disney, MSNBC, The Jim Henson Company, CBS, Animal Planet, AARP Travel Channel, GameFinder365, Alzheimer's Association, AFI and Imagination Stage.

The fundamental strategy that Leapfrog has developed, and constantly relies on, is turning data and research into emotional journeys and visual experiences across all platforms. When a brand, product or organization's initiatives are made personal and then searchable, viewers looking for answers around similar topics are met with content that's curated and activated for that moment.

Safety First
Given the state of our world and the wellness of everyone around us, we feel it's important to share that Leapfrog Production teams have been filming in the field and on sets since July of 2020 without incident, so we know exactly what's required to keep everyone safe. "Safety First" has never been more important and Leapfrog Productions is now experienced and expert in filming during a pandemic. Important stories can and should be told, even during a pandemic, and Leapfrog knows how.
